All TWU professors follow a standard grading system assigning letter grades to your work. Each letter is assigned a percentage, a descriptor, and a grade point. We advise you to refer to this regularly to help you understand what your grades are based on.
In the event of deteriorating weather conditions or other emergency situations, every effort will be made to communicate information regarding the cancellation of classes to TV and radio stations. Cancellation information will also be available as an update on the TWU homepage.
Our policies have been created with the physical, mental, academic, and personal safety of the TWU community in mind. Our policies exist to ensure our ability to operate within legal and moral guidelines.
The University is committed to providing a community in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, free from bullying and harassment. The University considers bullying and harassment serious offences and will not tolerate behaviour that may undermine the respect, dignity, self-esteem, or productivity of any student, faculty, staff, or administrative member.
The objectives of this policy are to cultivate institutional, collective, and individual responsibility in order to create an environment in which consent and respect are foundational principles and practices at the University, consistent with the Evangelical Christian beliefs on which TWU is founded.
